Nostalgic Interior of the Showa Period

They serve different kinds of soup for lunch and dinner, which are loved by local people. Inside the restaurant, the scenery of an old town in the Showa period is completely recreated. It’s quite photogenic, with amazing design!

Once you step into the restaurant, an old three-wheeler welcomes you. Many newcomers cannot help taking pictures of it as soon as they finish ordering, while local people enjoy tasting the noodles in a relaxed way.

As for lunch the menu, you can try richly flavored soup such as seafood and tonkotsu (pork bone) soup, Szechuan sesame hot soup and spicy shrimp soup, which go well with thick noodles. As for dinner, the flavor changes to chicken baitang, which you can taste along with izakaya (Japanese-style pub) dishes.

    This is the private-style table seatinf designed like an old house with the nameplate “Sakamoto.” It’s such an exciting experience to wait for your noodles to be served, while looking out of the window, watching the scenery.

    This is the sink beside the toilet. At first glance, washtubs appear to be just piled up, but upon closer inspection, you will find it plumbed inside. Beauty and utility provides a good atmosphere. Great work!
