Delicious Cuisine Made with Yuba (Tofu Skin), the Specialty of Minobu

Kakurinbo is proud of its shojin ryori (vegetarian cuisine) and cuisine made with yuba. Shojin ryori contains many dishes ingeniously made with yuba using a variety of cooking methods. The temple inn serves yuba dishes with ingredients that vary depending on the season, including raw yuba from Mt. Minobu.

Another specialty at this temple inn is its smooth and light-tasting homemade soft soy ice cream, a quite healthy dessert. Preserves of seasonal fruits add slight sweet tastes to this refreshing dessert. Mix the flavors as much as you like.
