Daigahara Kinseiken was founded in 1902 by an inn in Daigahara-juku as a Japanese-style confectionary shop, after the inn acquired the goodwill of Kinseiken's main shop in Ota-cho, Kofu City.
The shop skilfully uses the famous water from the Oshira River and offers locally produced ingredients in its Shingen Mochi (with a sweeter molasses and firmer texture), Mizu Shingen Mochi (summer only) and Daiginjo Kasutera (using sake from Shichiken, located opposite the lotus).ADDRESS 2211 Daigahara, Hakushu-cho, Hokuto, Yamanashi 408-0312 PHONE 0551-35-2246 E-MAIL From the contact form.
