Enjoy the Wonderful Taste of Nature at the Foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains!

Located along Yatsugatake Kogen Line in Kiyosato, Makiba Restaurant uses plenty of locally grown products so you can fully enjoy delicious Japanese food. From the window of the restaurant, you can see the Yatsugatake Mountain Range, Mt. Fuji, the Chichibu Mountain Range and the Southern Alps Range in a beautiful and breath taking 360-degree panorama. There is a park besides the restaurant where you can touch and play with sheep, ponies, goats and so on, free of charge.

    Located in the center of a stock farm spread on the southern foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains, at the altitude of 1,420 meters, with the Southern Alps at its back, Mt. Fuji and the Chichibu Mountain Range in front, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Yatsugatake Mountains when you look up, and a wide view of grassland at the bottom.

The restaurant uses plenty of locally grown products such as Koshu wine beef, highland vegetables, milk, wine, and so on, which represent Japanese food. The manager of the restaurant buys ingredient at a local market or from local farms to provide guests with the finest meals.

    The food stall of "Makiba Cafe" stands outside of the restaurant. Skewered Fujizakura pork bacon and green onion is highly recommended!
