Budou no Oka is located at the top of a small hill in Katsunuma-cho, Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, surrounded by vineyards stretching 360 degrees, and is a symbol of ‘Katsunuma, the town of grapes and wine’, fitting in well with the landscape of vineyards that change colour with each season. Katsunuma has a history of 1,300 years of grape growing and 140 years of wine making, and the wine caves (cellar) in the basement have about 20,000 bottles of wine from 170 brands recommended by Koshu City all in one place.
