It is the only sake brewery in Otsuki City and is located at the foot of the Sasago Pass, once the most difficult part of the Koshu Highway.
The Sasaichi Sake Brewery's sake is made from underground water called 'Gozensui' (the water chosen by Emperor Meiji to carry with him on his journey from Tokyo to Kyoto), which comes from its own well.
The Sasaichi Sake Brewery also has a Sake Museum where you can enjoy tasting and shopping, and discover your own favourite sake, among other attractions.
The wide range of shochu, liqueurs and wines offers a variety of different varieties to choose from.
There is also a café for non-drinkers to enjoy, with products such as the Amazake Ice Cream Parfait and Ginjo Soft Ice Cream.
