Hottarakashi hot spring

This hot spring has a superb view of the Kofu Basin and Mt Fuji, with beautiful seasonal scenery and starry skies, and has two bathhouses.
Fuji in front of it. The former bath ‘Hot water over here’, which opened in 2002 (Heisei 14), has an open-air bath made of wood and rock and an indoor bath with the scent of wood, and has a calm atmosphere.
On the other hand, the new bath ‘Hot water over there’, which opened in 2003 (Heisei 15), is twice as large as ‘Hot water over here’ and offers a night view of the Kofu Basin, one of the three new night views of Japan, and the sunrise.
The origin of the name is said to mean telling customers in advance that the establishment had a staff of only three and could not provide attentive service.
