Fuji 5 Lakes (around Mt Fuji)

Kawaguchiko Museum of Art was opened in April 1991 on a large site on the north-eastern shore of Lake Kawaguchi and, due to its location, is known as a museum where visitors can enjoy paintings (oil painter Genichiro Adachi), prints (Thirty-six Views of Fuji, Hiroshige Utagawa) and photographs (the reverse side of the 1,000 yen note, Koyo Okada) depicting Mount Fuji.
The bright and open building was designed by Sakakura Atelier (formerly known as Sakakura International), led by architect Takenosuke Sakakura, and has a clear spatial structure integrating the principles of design and modernism, with the gallery extending east and west as you enter the entrance, and at the back of the gallery is 'Cafe Kawaguchiko View From the 'Café Kawaguchiko View', every seat has a view of Lake Kawaguchi, allowing you to enjoy the rich natural scenery that changes from season to season, as well as the lake's surface, gracefully all to yourself.
