The Yamanashi Prefectural Linear Test Line Tour Centre is a prefectural museum-type tour facility that opened to coincide with the start of the Yamanashi Linear Test Line's running tests.
Visitors can observe the running tests and learn about the superconducting linear train and the Linear Central Shinkansen through a model and various exhibits, and gain an understanding of the superconducting linear train, which is said to be the next generation of high-speed railways.
In addition to the linear running tests, there is also a 'Doki Doki Linear Pavilion' where visitors can learn about the mechanism and principles of the superconducting linear train through hands-on experience, and an 'Exciting Yamanashi Pavilion' with a shop selling a wide range of linear goods and locally produced goods.ADDRESS 〒402-0006
