Miyako-en has been selected as a designated cultural asset by the city of Koshu and offers visitors a chance to see a historic building.
Visitors can also see the winemaking storehouse and tour the detached house, which is a rare opportunity to see the winemaking process in action.
In the main building of the Miyakouen, visitors can watch a film showing the wine-making process in the old days.
The main building of Miyako-en was moved from the second floor of a silkworm farmhouse in 1896, and was reconstructed in the Western style in 1928.
This facility is recommended for wine lovers and those wishing to expand their knowledge of wine.ADDRESS 1741 Shimo-Iwasaki, Katsunuma-cho, Koshu, Yamanashi 409-1313 PHONE 0553-32-5091 E-MAIL info@city.koshu.yamanashi.jp
