Chateau Katsunuma is located in Toriihira, a wine-growing region representing Katsunuma, where the first wine was brewed in Japan in the Meiji era (1868-1912), and where the gentle sunlight and fresh breezes blow over the land. It is a chateau (a winery that owns its own vineyard) with a long history and tradition, and is involved in the entire process from cultivation of raw material grapes to winemaking and sales, and is particular about producing small quantities of wine using high quality Katsunuma grapes as raw material grapes.
In the restaurant, you can enjoy French cuisine based on ‘local production for local consumption’ and directly managed wine, and in the bakery, the cream bread is very popular, and you can buy rosé wine made from ‘Kyoho’ grapes, which are rare in Japan and popular in fresh food.ADDRESS 4729 Hishiyama, Katsunuma-cho, Koshu, Yamanashi 409-1302 PHONE 0553-44-0073 E-MAIL info@chateauk.co.jp ACCESS By train
