Suntory Tomi no Oka was established in 1909 as Tomi Farm in Kai City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and has been growing grapes and making wine for over 100 years on land overlooking the Kofu Basin with Mt Fuji to the south.
The concept was created in the hope that people will be able to experience not only the wine itself, but also the vineyard cultivation, the terroir (natural environment) of the land and the people who make the wine. The concept is based on the idea that people should be able to feel and taste not only the wine itself, but also the terroir (natural environment) of the land where the wine is grown and the people who make it.ADDRESS 2786, Otsu, Kai, Yamanashi 400-0103, Japan PHONE 0551-28-7311 E-MAIL None.
